About Southeastern
Southeastern operates commuter and regional services from London to Kent, East Sussex, and parts of South London. It runs high-speed services via HS1 (the Channel Tunnel Rail Link) as well as mainline and metro services.
Southeastern was brought into public ownership in 2021 and is operated by SE Trains, an arm's-length body of the DfT.
Southeastern uses the DR15 Delay Repay scheme. This means you can claim compensation for delays of just 15 minutes or more — 25% of a single fare for 15-29 minutes, 50% for 30-59 minutes, and 100% for 60+ minutes. You have 28 days from the date of travel to submit a claim.
